EAST AFRICA: THE ORIGIN OF COFFEE
East Africa produces some of the best and most unique coffee flavors and profiles in the world. This is because the specific regions have perfect growing conditions for the bean. This is due to the climate conditions that allow the coffee trees to flourish and cultivate rich and fruitful berries. From mountainous topography, and soil conditions to the tropical climates, the regions are in the perfect position for cultivation.

Tanzania produces mainly Arabica coffee, which is mostly grown on the northern slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. The rich, volcanic soil provides the ideal growing conditions for coffee.
